// Blankets
Atlantic Blankets
Atlantic Blankets began in 2007 in north Cornwall; born out of the need to find the cosiest and softest blanket to comfort a child. Today the company, run by family team Gemma and Al, is located in the coastal village of Perranporth, where we design beautiful blankets that help create happy memories.
“The Atlantic ocean is a key part of who we are; it’s what surrounds us, and what inspires us. A visit to the beach and the sense you get when looking out to, or being immersed in the sea is a feeling like no other. There’s a sense of calm, peace, and overall happiness.”

// sustainable Clothing
Finisterre
Born over a decade ago from the needs of hardy British surfers, Finisterre designs functional and sustainable product for those that share a love of the sea. It started in 2003 in a flat above a surf shop with an innovative fleece that was designed to keep out chill winds and warm up cold bodies. Since these early days, driven by those who have jumped on board, supported by our customers and suppliers, the brand and product has widened beyond these original beginnings.
“From our cliff top workshop in St. Agnes, we stay true to our original design ethos of functionality and sustainability brought to life in an understated style and identity, always remaining committed to product, environment and people.”

// Cornish Rum
Cape Cornwall Rum Company
In 1925, Harvey’s great great grandfather was surprised to discover bottles of alcohol mysteriously built into the walls of his farm cottage. Legend has it that to avoid high government taxes, rum and other goods were often smuggled into Cape Cornwall by boat and stored in a farm building known as “the Wink”. We now use that very same building to lovingly age, mix, spice and bottle our specialist rums. Jack Shannon & Harvey Thomas - Co-Founders of the Cape Cornwall Rum Company

Seasalt
The Seasalt company began in 1981, which means we're 40 this year. All those years ago, on a wet August day, the Chadwick family went into a little shop in Adelaide Street, Penzance, called General Clothing Stores. They only went in to buy some waterproof coats, but ended up buying the shop as well! The shop sold traditional workwear, like fishermen's smocks, Guernsey pullovers and stripey tops, and within a few months they had moved down from the Midlands and were living in St Ives.
“As Seasalt has grown as a business, so too has our dedication to behaving responsibly. But with the climate crisis becoming more critical with each year, we know our choices matter now more than ever. That’s why we’re setting clear science-based targets to help reduce our carbon emissions to net zero within 20 years, meaning our operations cause no harm to the environment.”
